Halloween nails - Color Club Fly With Me with black drips

Happy Halloween peeps!

Not sure when it happened that we get so obsessed over this somewhat odd 'celebration', but hey ho, I'm not one to avoid a chance to do some themed nails, so here are my Halloween nails. I wasn't actually going to do any, but whilst going through my unused I found Color Club Fly With Me sitting there sadly, waiting to be used. Perfect. Mwaaaahahahahahaha!

I love this colour, although it's a pain in the backside to apply - this is four coats, and I still had to cover some bald spot! Gah! But it's worth it; as you can see in the close up, it's an unusual polish, more lime green than the photos show, and it almost looks like it's made up of teeny tiny pieces of glitter layered to make the ultimate shimmer! 

Anyhoo, this isn't the scariest of manicures, but I really love it - Halloweeny but not too in your face. Also, only my second time doing drips, I think I'm getting better:) 

Color Club Sky High Swatch

Hey hey!

I'm continuing on from yesterday with another swatch from the Color Club Take Wings collection, this time with the very beautiful Sky High,a blue polish with purple shimmer.

I've had soooooooooooooooo many compliments for this polish:) The one thing I will say though is that it takes along time to these polishes to draw - and it's not easy to get them to shine, you'll need a good couple of coats of a shiny top coats:) But with my trusty Stay Perfect top coat by Boots, I'm ok. 

Color Club Take Wing collection - Daisy Does It swatch

Oooooooooooooooooooooh I love TKMaxx! Love, love, LOVE! I nipped in the other day to pick up some holiday stuff (less than two weeks, woooooohooooo!) and found the Take Wing Collection by Color Club.

I've never been that fussed about shimmery polishes, but these......well, WOW!

                               

Oooooooooooooh, look at those. They're all gorgeous colours, and I'm swatching them as we speak, but that yellow! Swoon:) I rarely love yellow, but this one is stunning. It's got the cutest name, Daisy Does It, and for me it is just summer in a bottle!

It's a very sheer colour, so I layered it over Rimmel Sunshine. This is 3 coats of Daisy does It, and I love the shimmer that builds with each coat. It makes it a very easy yellow to wear; I find it isn't a great colour on me but the shimmer softens it and makes it a lot more flattering. If, when winter rolls back round, I want to remember the summer, this shall be the polish of choice:)
