Urban Outfitters Allsorts

Howdy peeps, hope you're having a great day? I've spent this evening sweating it at the gym - got to get into my dress lol:)

So, today I have a real treat - Allsorts, a pinky/clear polish with neon pink, orange, white and purple glitter jammed packed into it - I've never had so many compliments as I have when wearing this. In fairness, you can't really miss this polish!

Bottle shop - ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh, soooooo shiny:)

This wasn't the easiest to apply - it needed some dabbing which did result in some bubbles, but I'm complaining because I love this polish so much. Swoon. If I wasn't marrying my lovely fiance I'd marry this polish!

Hen do nails!

Ok, a tiny post today guys, but I really wanted to show you the photos of my hen do nails. The theme of my hen do was neon (inspired by a visit to a very club-tastic club I went to with one of my besties years ago in Prague) and so clearly, I needed neon nails:) I think I nailed it (ahem, scuse the dreadful punning).

These are all from the Models Own Neon Ice collection, painted over a white base to make them NEON! I thought they were a bit tame on their own though, so added glittery leopard print. I think they are the tackiest/most amazing nails I have ever had lol.

Eeeeeep, only 9 weeks now til the wedding, so excited:)

Models Own Pukka Pink

Ahhhhh neon - how you brighten up these dark Mondays:) This is Pukka Pink, part of Models Own Neon Ice collection - oddly, despite its name, it's more orange than pink, as you can see. I couldn't help but top this with Monochrome, my current favourite polish:)

I need to see if this neon 'pops' a bit more when I try it over white, bit I really love it topped with Monochrome:) But then I'd love anything topped in Monochrome lol:)

Models Own Hed Kandi Sunset Chillout swatch

There's a party on my nails, and everyone's invited!!!!

O.M.Flipping.G - this is, to paraphrase the Fresh Prince, DA BOMB!

BTW, if you're thinking, "gosh, Emma's never done a close up shot of a glitter polish before", that's because I haven't. I ONLY JUST realised my camera could do this. So yes, I am a total muppet:) Anyhoo, look at the baby; large blue hexes, orange, green and gold medium hexes, small purple squares, small pink, blue and green hexes, holographic bars............my god, it's stunning.

Because there are soooooooo many different glitters in here, it was tricky to match it, the best results I found were over In The Navy, another Models Own classic. Honestly, I love this glitter so much it's smashed it's way into my top 10! Happyness is glittery nails:)

Ps - this is a scheduled post, I'm on my hols, so please don't be offended if I don't reply to comments:) x

G'day mates!

Hi guys,

I hope you're enjoying the heatwave? I am, with the small exception that I'm having to be on tan alert - I'm a bridesmaid in a few weeks and DO NOT want ridiculous tan lines, so am factor 50-ing up constantly! But still, the sunshine has put me a great mood:)

I'm not really sure where my idea for Aussie themed nails came from, but here they are - the dots were actually very simple, these are ones of those awesome manis that look a lot harder than they actually are:)

I used Barry M Mushroom as a base, then dotted using Sinful Colour Rich in Heart (a deep chocolatey brown that looks good enough to eat!), Barry M Cyan, and various nail art pens (shown below). Like i said, simple:)

Bonza!

Orange and blue tribal nails

Happy Monday peeps!

Today's manicure is from a few weeks ago, not sure why I didn't post it, but here we go..........orange and blue tribal nails:)

Apologies for the photos, they're a little dark aren't they? Odd. Anyhoos, for these I seem to remember I painted a base of Barry M White, then added H&M Blue My Mind and Barry M Block Orange. I used my Barry M and Models Own nail art pens for the detail:) Happiness.

P.s - don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin if you're not already:)

Orange, blue and purple mish mash

Lol - couldn't think of anything more suitable for this manicure than mish mash - it's another 90's tastic concoction, a bit MTV, a bit tribal:)

I really couldn't think what I wanted to do, so I made this up as I went along; I selected three of my favourite colours and then - hey presto!

All the colours are Barry M - Block Orange, Bright Purple and Cyan Blue. I love how juicy the orange looks, makes me feel like summer is already here!

Swatch - Accessorize Bumblebee

Hey peeps - urgh, I'm hanging, so I'll keep this short and sweet. I have for your delectation today a gorgeous  orange polish: I never thought I'd type that, orange is hardly my favourite colour to have on my nails. But this Accessorize speckle polish is lovely, really warm and delicious looking. The name Bumblebee is adorable as well.

This was a very sheer colour, so I popped it over a base or Barry M Block Orange, but afterwards I wished I hadn't. Block orange is very bright, whereas Bumblebee is a delicate, pumpkin-y colour. Next time I wear this polish I'll wear it on it's own, even if there is VNL - I love it that much!

The polish is spliced with matt black glitter, and creates a beautiful speckle - hence the name:)
speckly:)

Swatch - 2True Shade 5

Hey guys!

You know when you just need that perfect shade of neon orangey-pink.....er, nope, neither do I. And yet, I find myself oddly drawn to this eye-wateringly bright creme by 2True. It's an easy to apply, happy and bright colour, perfect for a night out or a summer day. Somewhat less suitable for a Sunday in Antarctica Birmingham, but the minute it's summertime I shall be rocking this shade:)

The above is 2 coats, with a fast drying topcoat (it's a bit on the slow side to dry, but only £1.99, and for a bargain I'm willing to wait a bit longer!) The brush is nice and long so it gives good coverage and all together, I'm pretty sold on this little pretty:)

Kelly Brook for New Look Nail Polish - Swatch

Hope you've all had a good weekend peeps. It's back to work for me tomorrow (boooooooooo), so I've spent all weekend with that Sunday night feeling.

Anyhoo, when I hit the sales after Christmas I found a few polish bargains in New Look:) It's not somewhere  I'd have thought to by polish from before, but this colour (frustratingly un-named), from their Kelly Brook collection, really caught my eye.

It's a really unusual colour, and I couldn't place whether it was red, orange, bronze, copper - it seemed to change every time I looked at it:)

The formula? Well, it retails normally for £2.99 (though I got it for the bargainous price of £1!), so I wasn't expecting much. Ii smelt odd, kind of like sweets, and took forever to dry! However, it lasted well and didn't chip for the few days I wore it. If you're broke and have a few hours to spare maybe worth a try lol:)

As I'm never quite happy with just one colour on my nails I went for a design. Leopard print seemed like a good idea. However I don't actually like the colour scheme on this; it just seemed like dodgy 70's wallpaper!

So would I buy a polish from this collection again? Yes, but only if they had a colour that I hadn't seen anywhere else, I wouldn't use it as a basic range. Or if they were £1 again.....I'll buy almost anything if it's £1:)

Spooky selection!

Heh heh heh, couldn't let the chance to do some awesome Halloween nails pass by......so here they are. I couldn't choose one design, so I chose a few:) Very pleased with my lucky black cat, my pumpkin, my spider and my ghost. The rest I'm a bit meh about, but I like them altogether:)

I'm off to the pub now, so will list the polishes I used in my next post:)

Happy Halloween peeps!
